sorry i don't have the answer but,
another reader? use it.
that's the benefit to have two or more screen readers installed, especially if default=window eyes 9.0

Hi: ON the Yahoo Finance site I click on Reuters or AP and when I then click
a news item on one of these providers list of items there is a long wait
until WE starts speaking.

When it comes back the find command will not work at all.

The find command does work with another reader even while we does not work.

Also, when WE is not reading the other reader reads well while WE is silent.

This has happened on these pages before but I checked it out with another
reader to see if the computer was locking up in IE 11 but that does not seem
to be the case and the problem does seem to be WE specific.

There may be a flash playing when the page is silent, not sure, but even if
that is the case I get no audio from the flash and WE should not lock up
during some video presentation but continue to read text on the screen.

If you know of a simple work-around I will give it a try but it is not
critical since the other reader handles these pages well enough to get the
job done in a timely fashon.
