Hi, If Insert-backslash re-initializes the synthesizer as well as redraws the screen, why do you not hear the message Synthesizer re-initialized. On the other hand, if you simply choose your synthesizer from the list of Synthesizers when it is running, it does report Synthesizer re-initialized, which certainly confirms the matter.
