Rick, I wanted to provide a quick update to this thread based on a recent discovery. It appears as if Google has now set the HTML5 version of the video player as default for most modern browsers. Therefore, requesting the HTML5 player manually might not be necessary. To verify which player is being used, visit: https://www.youtube.com/html5 and read down the page. If it says the default player is current used, that means the Flash version. Otherwise, it will say the HTML5 player is currently used when possible. Thanks, Marc

By default, YouTube uses the Adobe Flash Player to display videos. So, you need to make sure you have Adobe Flash installed on your system and that the Flash Player add-ons are enabled in your browsers. When I open the YouTube link, the video starts to play automatically. If it doesn't, I suspect that your Flash Player is not properly installed, updated or the add-on isn't enabled in your browser. If the Flash Player is active on the YouTube page, you can Tab to all of the video player controls using Tab and Shift-Tab with Browse Mode turned off. As of today, you won't be able to access the Flash Player with Browse Mode on. Another option to consider is to request that the new HTML5 player be used for displaying YouTube videos instead of the Flash based player. Once you do this and enable the HTML5 version of the player on YouTube, you would be able to quickly navigate to the video player controls in Browse Mode. For example, you could press B until you find the Play button and then hit Enter to activate it. To enable the HTML5 version of the player in YouTube, go to: https://www.youtube.com/html5. Then locate and activate the Request the HTML5 layer button. You would need to complete these steps in each browser you use. I hope you find this info helpful. What, how, do I do to play the video in Youtube with WE?
