listen to what it is saying when you go to the yahoo.com page.
i went to it several times with w e 9.
the first thing that is happening is you will land on a search box every
time and w e is turning off browse mode
you have to tab out of the search box. then b m will turn back on and the
mouse keys will work.

There's no trick. Have you opened different pages with similar results?
Are you loading a page where you're automatically put into a search
box so bm is turned off like the default FF start page? Make sure bm is
on and your arrows should work fine.
