Hi. I don't use Thunderbird, but I tried it witgh WLM. The Subject, BCC, CC, and To fields are not HTML fields. The F8 selection method doesn't work. However, what is commonly referred to as the old text selection method does work. It also works in MS word, Notepad, Excel, etc. i.e. in non-HTML situations. You can use the Shift and the Control+Shift key combinations with the arrow keys, Page-Up, Page-Down, and End keys to select text. When you are selecting text, you should hear what is selected. Control+Shift+M should read the selected text. When you are ready to copy the textto tke clipboard, press Control+C. Press Control+V to paste the text where you desire. In my case, I pasted it into MS Word. I would be glad to help further off list if you desire.
