Hi. I'm not sure what you mean by can't get jump to time to work. I'm using Gold Wave 6 with WE 9 and Win 7 64-bit. I opened up a sound file, then opened the set selection dialog with Shift E. I set the start mark to 30 seconds into the mp3 file and selected OK. Back in the sound window, I pressed the Play 2 function key, which on my computer is set in the Gold Wave control properties to play the selection. My personal preference for Play 1 is what was formerly called cursor to finish and is now called continue to finish. When I pressed the Play 2 function key, the mp3 began playing 30 seconds into the mp3.
I tried setting the start mark 30 seconds into the mp3 and using the Play 1 function key and the mp3 began playing from the beginning of the sound file and not 30 seconds in. However, when I pressed the End key and then the Home key, the Play 1 function key started 30 seconds in. There's probably a Gold Wave setting that lets the cursor move outside the selection boundaries but if so, I can't remember where it is. Make sure one of your Play controls in the Gold Wave control properties is set to play the selection and use it and you should have no problem. Or, hunt through the Gold Wave settings and find the setting that is allowing the cursor to go outside the marker boundaries and reset it to contain the cursor within the marker boundaries.
