I just did the update at home because I was afraid to lose some critical set files at work. I have been running 8.4 here at home on a win 7 machine and excel 2007. I have been bringing home some spreadsheets that I need to work on and the Auto filters used to work before I made the update. Now I am hearing that items are partially checked instead of checked or unchecked along with odd words of "grouping object". What happened? Why is it not behaving like before? It makes me wonder if I am able to get the info I am looking for. For example I want to filter out all the Non blanks and only show the particular rows which this column is blank. I am not able to get the sheet to display like that. It says that blanks are partially checked or unchecked but I can't get blank to fully check. You will all think this may be odd that I would want blank cells but I am looking for missing data. And that would be shown in the blank cells. Am I just being paranoid or why did WE decide" to change the behavior? Thanks I haven 't tried to do anything else to see how WE 9.1 works yet. I am looking forward to finishing my work and trying to surf the WEB with my new WE but I have to finish my chores first. Smile Shannon
