Hi and thanks. I llistened to it, downloaded the word doc, turned off the
protected mode and saved it to test file.
Then I went through it one step at a time tweaking each step according to my
situation and managed to get Eloquence installed.
To my dismay the problem appears to be related to WindowEyes and not to the
synth.
Since I am out of the 60 day free trial I am out 40 bucks and will have to
rely on the beeper app someone, Vick I think, created to uplift the
WindowEyes failure of using a pitch change to indicate capitalization - that
is there is no way to increase capital pitch in WindowEyes.
Anyway, I finally got Eloquence installed after jumping through all the
hoops but it appears a waste due to how WindowEyes interacts with it.

Rick,
There is a step by step tutorial on the entire process of purchasing and
adding a new speech synthesizer here:
http://www.windoweyesforoffice.com/Voices/Tutorial/. There are video, audio
and text versions. I hope this helps
