If you installed ChromeVox, you have what they refer to as ChromeVox, like jaws refers to the "JAWS key" or VoiceOver says VO for its modifiers.
In ChromeVox you can have the modifier set to control-alt or shift-alt and when your told to hit ChromeVox-a twice, this means you would press alt-control-a twice or alt-shift-a twice really depending on how you have your ChromeVox set up. I know the default used to be alt-control but switched mine to alt-shift a long time ago. Not sure if that is the new default.
