Is there a solution available whenever Windows Explorer decides not to respond.

The only solution I have found is not one that makes me happy. It is to to press and hold the button on the CPU until the machine powers off.

Window-Eyes and everything freezes.

I think the problem has to do with I Tunes. Every now and then I have to do a repair of I Tunes and the problem goes away for awhile.
