Reports tell the Extended Dictionary to work at least under WE9.0. I
don't have that version or the newest, so cannot confirm at the moment.
Since you state you uninstalled, please try re-downloading and
installing anew. Report back to me, should you have further issues with
the app. I might have to see the logfiles it produces on your particular
computer, to trace your actual issue. The behavior you report is not
known to me, to be a general situation.
Thanks,
David

I upgraded to WE 9 from the CD and then 9.1 a few days ago. Then I
updated my apps for WE. The extended Dictionary kept asking me about
merging files with a yes and no choice. No matter how many times I
answered, nor which choice I made, it kept asking me. I had so many
weird things happening with pronunciations that I uninstalled it. I
tried starting over, but I got the same thing. Is this app no longer
usable with WE 9 or 9.1?
By the way, after rebooting the computer, WE said I was using WE 8.4
and asked me to upgrade to 9.1. I'd already done that but said yes
anyway. Has this been a problem with the latest WE versions.
Thanks!
Marilyn
