Hi Rick: I don't know how to fix the problem, but I know of a way to go back to Window-eyes 8.4, but it is a long way and if anyone on this list has a shorter method, I would like to know about it as well.
1. uninstall Window-eyes. 2. Find your cd with the latest version and install Window-eyes from that. 3. If you have kept the upgrades that you have downloaded and installed in order to get to 8.4, insttall these upgrades in succession. I had to do this several weeks ago when my Window-eyes 9 beta turned into a demo. I could not find my 8.0 disk so I had to install 7.5. I installed the upgrades that I had and now I am up to 8.3, until I order version 9.1.
