hello

no, I am deleting from the list of messages. I am not opening them up. When
I hit delete it takes over 5 seconds before windoweyes9.1 starts talking
again. this is happening on 2 computers. the first is a win7 machine, and
the second is win8.1 pro. I have the outlook app current version installed
as well. is there another outlook add on I need to have installed?
thanks for your help.
Edward

Hi Edward,

Are you viewing the message when you press Control-D, and how do you have it
configured, to bring up another message?
I do find it quicker to delete from the list of messages, but deleting while
viewing them shouldn't take more than a second.

hth,

Rod

hello all,

is it normal for outlook2010 to have a delay of 5-7 seconds when deleting a
message?

thanks,

Edward
