Top bottom was checked, so that wasn't the problem. Okay, we are sitting at the Desktop on a windows 8.1. My first tile says mail. according to the tutorial I am listening to the top tile says one of X, X meaning the amount of tiles on the desktop. My system is not giving me this info. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom Kingston" <[email protected]> To: "Brice Mijares" <[email protected]>; "Window-Eyes Discussion List" <[email protected]>

Brice,

Go to Verbosity, Common, Miscellaneous. There is Speak top/bottom index and Speak current index.

If you don't see these turn on Show advanced options under Help.
