I click F6 until I hear 'tree view"
Then I tab until it says Brenda's iPhone.
It is a lot of surfing and trial and error but eventually I find it.
When I want to back up my phone I ALT-F to devices and then back up or
sync although I have sync set to happen on start up.
itunes can be a real pain - Good luck,
