Dave,
I recall that one of the Outlook 2010 webinars on the AI webinar page covered
this. I listened to it when I started using Outlook 2010 last summer.
Basically, the recommended View setting is Business Card, which shows typically
3 contacts across and then as many rows as needed. You can put it in list
view, but you lose the ability to do first letter navigation to find contacts.
There is at least one Window Eyes shortcut to also use, but I don't recall what
it is. At work, I tend to use the search function, Control + E to type in a
search term for the contact I want, then tab to the main area to arrow through
the contacts found in my search. Pressing Enter on the contact opens an edit
window where you can tab through the various entries, but I know the wE hotkey
is supposed to make something about reading contact info easier.

I have not dealt with importing contacts, so I cannot help if you aren't seeing
your contacts appear. I do recommend that webinar though.

Whenever I'm in the address book, it just shows me a search area, not a list of
contacts. I imported from a csv file.
