Yes, I hav one of their American voices here. She sounds OK enough, is
OK responsive for certain tasks, but haven't found her sufficient for
daily usage True, have'nt forced myself to do so eiher.
What I did find a /ttiny bit troublesome, is that the speech quality may
vary a bit, depending on the speed. She simply does not perform too
well, should you slow her down too much. The speech becomes sluggish.
OK then, that is One of their voices, American cathrine. It is my
personal experience. The voice I bought a handful years ago, and their
technology might likely have improved a good deal.
They do offer some bulk-pricing, or at least they used to, if you buy
more than one voice. And they were not overly expensive. You may well
give them a try.
