Now , you might wonder what the hell this has to do with Window-Eyes, well it goes like this.

I have this thing, and apparently other people have it too. It is called AMD External Events Utility, and it is considered a service. The problem is that it comes across my screen as a fast moving Web type page, and I usually cath something like "Top Charts," or if not that, it says "frame." It looks like it might be connected with some kind of online retail service or something. I think it has been running on my system mostly at startup almost since, if not ever since I got my new computer. The reason It relates to WE is that in its immediate devastation, it has a tendency to either shut down WE, or completely mess up my ability to navigate the screen, whether I am in the desktop, task bar, or anywhere else for that matter.

If I try to shut down WE and open it up again to give me a reprieve, it some times will not even let me open the WE control panel.

Interestingly enough, if I patiently wait it out, I seem to be fine for the duration of my computing session, but if I wanna just get down to business, and it decides to run through my system, I chance that thing just messing up everything.

I think my question has become obvious. What the hell can I do to keep this thing from loading every time I start my computer?

I tried yesterday stopping it in the services tab of the task manager, and it seemed like it was done for the rest of the day, even when I did restart the machine, but today, its back.

Any ideas?

Thanks much,

Larry
