Hi Larry,
You might consider the Email program known as Becky. yeah, a strange
name for a program, but no worse than Eudora, which by the way, I
have been using for the last Zillion years.
I did download Becky, and it does act some what similar to Eudora,
although it has folders like Thunderbird too.
Becky will cost you $40, where WLM and Outlook are probably Free.
Becky has two settings that need to be Unchecked before Window eyes
will read properly.
If you go to the Window eyes web site, and run a search for Becky,
you will find what I found. Once these two settings are turned off,
Becky does seem to work well enough.
Guess it just depends on whether or not you want to pay money, or use
a Free program.
Since the Spell Checker is quite important for my use, I like Becky
as its Spell checker is much like Eudora.
As for the rest of Becky, I am still attempting to feel my way
around, so don't have much to say about the rest of the program.

Yahoo lists with Comcast, so had to sign up with Gmail hoping for
better luck. Now I find out that Gmail apparently doesn't like
Thunderbird, it is time to experiment with at least one other email client.
Thought I'd never have to ask, but how does one go about getting
WLM, or Outlook. I think I saw Outlook on my system when looking
through the apps menu, but what about WLM? Also, which is easier to
use with WE, or may be even more important, which is easier to adapt
too, and has the most essential features.
I know, much of that is subjective, but please give it your best shot <smile>.
Anyway, if anyone would like to reply off list, that would certainly be OK.
