Does the same thing happen if you locate the link in the email, bring up the
context menu and select copy shortcut.
Then paste it into either the run dialog or open Internet Explorer and paste it
into the address bar?

Thanks,
Chris

Subject: ot: Problem with Guardian email

I receive a daily email from the Australian version of the Guardian
newspaper. It consists of a series of short headings with links leading to
the relevant articles. Up till recently it worked well but now when I click
on one of the links and Internet Explorer opens up, my computer freezes up
completely.

I cannot close Internet Explorer nor exit from Outlook. I have to press the
reset key and reboot. I am running Windows7 64 bit, Outlook 2010 and W E
9.01 I also have the latest Outlook enhanced app. I would appreciate
suggestions as to how to solve the problem.

Thanks

Ivan Cribb
