Manny,

It's really there for developers and allows us to reload an app quickly after writing more code or fixing a bug.

Regards,
Tom

Hi,
Instead of going through all that trouble, wouldn't just turning off
apps and turning it back on achieve the same outcome?
Thanks,

Hi Tom,

Thanks so much about the fast reload option. You know, I've known
about the
reload hotkey for quite some time, but I never researched it, being
afraid
of messing things up somehow. Now I realize what a time saver it'll
be when
writing apps. smile

Thanks again,

Larry,

Here's how to reload Browse mode enhance.
Open the Window-Eyes control panel.
Alt-A Apps.
You'll come in on App Management. Hit Enter, then P for App Manager.
That will land you in a list of running apps. Hit the letter B until
you're on Browse Mode Enhance.

The first time you do this Tab twice and make sure that the Show more
options checkbox is checked. This will reveal more button below it; one
of which is the Alt-R Reload button.
So once you've landed on Browse mode enhance in the list and Show More
Options is checked you can just hit Alt-R to reload it or any other app
you've selected.
You should hear, App reloaded, App running.
Press Escape twice to exit the control panel.

And if you want to make it real quick and easy you can set it as the
Fast reload app.
Follow the above procedure until you have Browse Mode Enhanced selected
in the list and then hit Alt-V for Advanced settings.
Tab to the Assign app button and activate it, or, just hit Alt-A.
You should hear Browse Mode Enhanced. That means it has been assigned to
the fast reload app.
Escape out of that dialog.
Now go to Hot keys, Miscellaneous, Reload app.
Set the scope to global or program as desired. Then assign a key or
combination to reload the app.
And finally, don't forget to hit Control-S to save your settings.

Hth,
Tom

      Hello listers,

Here I am again with the same issue concerning place markers, but
hopefully a more helpful approach.

I realize now that the Brows Mode Enhanced app is what controls the
place marker function, but How do I get Brows Mode Enhanced to run again
when Place Markers don't work. It would be nice if I didn't have to
reboot every time I run into this problem. Surely someone has run into
this one and has found a way. It is probably quite easy, but even so, it
is beyond me.

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Larry
