You can check this by pressing the start key and typing "display" without the quotes. Down arrow to change display settings and then tab until you hear "orientation" and see what the setting is. It should be set to "landscape" which is the first option.

Hi. The hot key, control-shift-alt- arrow key used to be the keys for changing rate, volume and pitch on the fly. Now, it is a windows key for rotating the screen. Screen rotation is only important to sighted folk. The F8 key works when you copy from a website, but copying otherwise is done with control- C and Control - V. As to control - shift, you need to also hold down the "R" key for read to end.
