Hello all, Just a short note to advise that if you have a machine with 2 gb of RAM, don't install Vipre Antivirus on it as it will slow your machine down and cause temporary loss of speech. This is true on my Acer netbook and I think my husband is eventually going to remove Vipre in favor of Windows Defender.
If you want to run Vipre, I would recommend at least 4 and preferably 6 gb of RAM. Hopefully this won't cause slowdowns but that's the biggest problem I've seen with Vipre. See my system specs below.
