Casper 8 is accessible well enough.

however, if you are going to migrate from a standard Harddisk and into an SSD, I found a far better software, which also is accessible. Your whole migration will be done in a few clicks. The software is called:
    Paragon Migrate OS To SSD,
and I do believe I paid something like 20 dollars. Yet it definitely was worth the money.

I had trouble with SSD's produced by the usage of Casper. Since an SSD is totally differently organized, there is a certain amount of technical conversion to be done, on the data from your old hard disk, before they go onto the SSD. Casper seemed to have trouble there, although admittedly I have not tried with the newest version, so things ma have gotten better. I simply just stuck with the Paragon software for this kind of migration.

Please note, the Paragon oftware is only for first-time migration. It does not give you the maintaining backup feature that Casper does. But it does the migration perfectly well. In reality, I keep both handy, since they tend to cover each their task.

Hi,

I have a need to make a bootable backup from one computer to an external SSD.
Is Casper 8.0 from Future Systems still accessible?

Thanks,
Chris
