I'm sorry Josh, but I am just not seeing what you are. I'm using Windows 7 and IE 11, and I have Macaffee here at work, and MSE at home for anti-malware, and yet I am not finding it any more "crashy".
One thing that will cause a pc to crash all the time is infection with malware; have you tried purchasing a quality program such as Malware Bites to check out your pc? One other thing you can do in order to be sure that the problem is WE; try using NVDA or something else for a long time (several days at least) and see how things go. If they aren't any better, then perhaps it is malware or something else on your pc.
