Windows 10 will most likely not be a subscription service. It is free for
the first year, because microsoft wants to give people every chance to
upgrade. They will even offer it to people running pirated copies of
windows.

OK so the news stories say that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for
the first year. This could mean a couple of things.
1. You get to use Windows 10 for the first year then have to pay for it.
2. You can down load it during that first year and then use it for ever.
3. Windows is going to become a subscription based OS where you have to
pay a annual fee to keep using it similar to the new Office 365.
Anyone got a clue which one is right?
