Hi Guys:
Those who test WE in Windows 7 are using a quantum leap backward from the
Windows 8 and above.
In Windows 8 Microsoft has continued getting away from MSAA and eliminated
the use of a screen buffer that most screen readers relied heavily on to
read formatted screens.
Windows 8 is many times more dynamic than Windows 7 and objects and the UIA
model is thus more dynamic and diferent as well as a result.
Therefore what works in Windows 7 may not work properly in Windows 8 or 8.1
with WindowEyes.
Just a heads up and if you are still running Windows 7 it, like XP, is
getting very long in the tooth and an upgrade is really called for - either
Windows 8.1 or the new Windows 10 when it comes out since I think MS is
dropping support for Windows 7 sooner rather than later as they did with
Windows XP if I remember correctly.
