Hi Bob

You're trying to do something with MS Word that it's not designed to do;
it's not a text editor like Notepad, it's designed to layout characters on a
page. The reason you're running into a limit is the height of those
characters; this is as many lines as Word thinks can fit on a page.

You can make it somewhat bigger by telling Word to use shorter and shorter
characters (but I sure hope you never intend for a sighted person to read
this as well). Even so, Word will only let you make them so small and then
no smaller.

Also, the default line spacing is 1.5 lines, and you can reset this down to
single spacing; but ultimately, you'll end up getting a few more lines (say
350 for example), but you'll never have it unlimitted or have thousands of
lines per page.

Why is the lines per page so important? Maybe we can suggest something else
for you?

Chip

Subject: OT Question About Word

Word 2010

My document is only letting me have 256 lines per page.

How can I extend the page?
