Hi: My recent problems may have been related to automatic mouse movement and
"fixed" by turning off the Mouse Voice setting checkbox.
I am wondering how WindowEyes handles automatic mouse movement and if this
can be causing other problems for WE Users.
I know Microsoft and other Programs move the mouse around all the time.
If there is no interaction with the underlying program this is not a concern
outside of a screen reader environment.
That said, I am thinking about a situation where:
1) There are active controls on a WebPage like roll overs or popups and the
mouse just happens to get set over one of them.
If they don't activate outside WindowEyes environment would a screen reader
go ahead and execute the active roll over or PopUp?
This could be why sometimes I go to a webpage or am reading in a page when a
context menu pops up without me doing anything including using the arrow
keys to arrow over one.
2) Can a webpage, or the browser, set the mouse to someplace on a page
where WindowEyes mouse pointer can not be routed to for reading purposes?
If the active control was there it may not be something that can be checked
out by an end user like me using the mouse keys to find out what is under
it.
