I am using windows 8.1. Should I reinstall window-eyes, and then try again?

Hi,
In Windows 7, press the Start button, press the tab key repeatedly until you
hear All Programs.
Then, press the spacebar, then up arrow, and you're in the typical list of
installed programs we were used to in the old XP days.
Press Home to get to the top of the list, and then work your way down, and
first-letter navigation works here.
It is a tree view, by the way, not a menu. smile
Hth,
Rod

Yeah I've had similar problems, including my previous computer with
Windows-7 and WE 7.1 (I think it was).
Just tried it again, and no luck.

Subject: can't use arrows in startmenu
Hello,
When I go in to the start menu, I am able to type in something and get
results when searching for it. However, when I go to navigate the startmenu,
and with the tab key and the arrows, I get no speech. Any idea what could be
causing this?
I am running we 9.01 with Windows 8.1.
Thanks,
Darrell
