The only paths in IE I can think of are the URL for the page you're on
or a link shortcut.
To copy the URL just hit Alt-D to go to the address bar and Control-C to
copy it. You don't have to select anything because it's already
highlighted. Then hit F6 to go back to the page content.
For a link open the context menu with the Application key or Shift-F10
and arrow down to Copy shortcut.
Otherwise, remember that F8 only works when you're in browse mode. And
being in IE doesn't mean you're in browse mode. In other words, if
you're in an edit box you're out of browse mode. Then you have to use
the standard selection keys.
