In the settings, under Keyboard, the fifth item in the tree view is Layout.

Subject: How do I switch the keyboard layout?
I've somehow managed to get myself into laptop layout, which is fine, don't
get me wrong, as I do! know the commands for it, but it's a little awquard
considerring I now have a full sized external USB keyboard connected. I did
my ctrl+backslash, and looked under the keyboard node, but I don't see
anything to switch that out. I'm stuck. Can someone remind me?
