Free Office 2016? Is anything really Free?
OK, I am a bit frustrated due to WE 9.1 refusing to read, or track
much of anything on Classmates.com, or Ebay.com.
Closed down I.E. 11 twice, just to clear anything that may have been
messed up in I.E. but had the hardest time getting WE 9.1 to page
down to get to search results on Ebay.
I began using the Down Arrow, going line by line, then WE stopped
reading. Reading anything. I was not moving fast, or even medium speed.
I have no idea what was happening, but WE was struggling. Very
Sluggish, and would not read much of anything. Finally just shut
down I.E. 11 and started reading email, where everything seems back
to working fine. Go Figure!
I Know, I Know, some of you never have any issues with Browsing the Web.
reminds me of an old Boss I once had. he was Lazy, and did not want
to lift a finger unless he had to do so. I would be testing some bit
of software from Development, I would find problems, and I would
report them. I would be told later that the problems I had were not
bugs, because on his system, he found no problems where I had
reported issues.
I could reduplicate those problems, even when he was standing there
beside my desk. He would shrug and tell me it was probably something
with my system, and that he did not get the same problems on his.
A month later, the Software would be sent to customers and lookie
there, customers started having issues right where I had reported
there to be problems.
I know that Development hates to fix problems. Bug fixing is a Brain
busting job, but pretending all is fine because 7 out of 10 users say
they have no problems does not mean the software has no problems.
There might be some difference in the three systems where problems
are reported. All Systems are not alike, even systems that are named
the same model.
Software, for what ever reasons, can run great on one system and like
a Dog on another.
I was just on Ebay the other night, and I had no problems. Tonight,
problems galore!
I await 9.2 in hopes I might benifit from any changes between 9.1 and 9.2.

Microsoft will release Office 2016 as a free software package this year,
probably when Windows 10 is released. It would be wonderful if full support
for Office 2016 were available. Then everybody could avail themselves of
free Window-Eyes and free Office 2016 as their educational and work
platform. Complete access at last, no economic barriers to personal
fulfillment!
