Google groups is not very accessible at this point. When changing some preferences for a couple of lists, I had to have my husband help me and he had to fight with it too.
I also know someone who I would classify as an expert user who said that the interface for google groups is getting worse. This individual and my husband had to fight with affiliate lists under the Google groups interface before said lists were moved to a more accessible platform. This is a problem that Google needs to be forced to fix.
