Hi all, I moved to using Outlook 2010 last spring. Somewhere in the early fall, I noticed that there is a keystroke in Outlook that when you hit the Insert key, it flags whichever email you are on as a red flag. At first I didn't know what I was doing to trigger this, but, while searching online to figure out how to turn it off, I saw reference to this being a way for people to quickly flag an item as due today. So, when I come into work the next day, a number of my inbox messages show in red status. Considering the number of times I hit Insert to open my WE Calendar dialog or check the time, this is an annoying setting, but I can't figure out if there is a way in Outlook to turn it off. I don't recall seeing it when I first moved to Outlook, but I also don't' recall deliberately doing anything to turn this on. Any ideas? Anyone else noticed this behavior? Maybe if you are totally blind you don't' notice it. I have some vision, so it's annoying visually. I know I can stop h aving WE read the flagged column, but I'd like to stop this behavior altogether.
