window eyes usually will not run when another screen reader is running.
unload jaws completely then load window eyes with control alt w. then only
window eyes will be running.
you can do the same with jaws. when you want to use jaws unload window eyes
completly. then load jawss.
once you decide which screen reader you want to use as the default go into
there settings and set one or the other to not run on boot up. then you
won't have the conflicts you get with two screen readers running at the same
time.
it may be saying no audio services because both screen readers are trying to
use the sound at the same time and causeing conflicts.

Subject: My Window-Eye 9.1 installation results
I installed using the DVD disk Window-Eyes 9.1 earlier today and all went
well except at the restart process. No speech was heard for 20 minutes after
the restart. How come? I used the custom install here and told it to NOT
speak at pre login and after the desktop comes up because I have JAWS here.
Should I have turn off JAWS settings to not speak at startup and should have
told Window-Eyes to do so and then when all was accomplished I would reverse
these login and logon settings back to JAWS? Also, my system tray speaker
volume no longer read as speaker but the icon said no audio service is
running. What gives here?
The audio tutorial said to use insert+ctrl+F4 to shut down Window-Eyes so I
am using this keystroke at the moment. I believe I can go do ctrl+\ then
exit also.
How do I bring up the start up wizzard again? What about the registration
screen?
Sorry for all the questions.
