Wow, only a dollar a month? That's not bad at all!

Hi,
Might want to try XMarks from www.xmarks.com
The free version will synchronize across browsers on desktops but the pay
version will also synch between portable devices.
It is $1/month.

Hi Chris,
While I don't know the answer, I'd bet you could find a sync utility which
would sync your Chrome to your FireFox on your Windows at least, or your
IE to your FireFox (again on your Windows platform); then, your sync
utility between Windows and Android should take over and move things
along. Did you Google for this to see if it exists?

browsing
Importance: High
OK, I'm in a slight predicament. I figure that there has just got! to be
a way to deal with this, but I'm going to need some help getting it done.
Basically, this might seem slightly OT, but here me out on this. Here is
the situation. On Windows, I prefer using either IE, or Google Chrome. A
lot of you probably say to that, ewwww! Just use Firefox. You know... I
don't know why. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's just
something about Firefox on Windows that I don't like. Again, it's not
something I can put a concrete explanation to. For what ever reason
though, I just don't like the feel of it. I just find that both IE and
Chrome seem to be a bit more responsive for me, and a bit more reliable.
I know that's really odd that I say that about IE vs. Firefox, but I
didn't come here to argue that one way or another.
Now, let's move on. I also have an Android phone running 5.1 Lollypop. I
know this list isn't for Android discussion, but here me out on this, as I
plan to tie this back into Windows, I promise. On my Android device, I
tend to go the oppisit direction. I find that Chrome is absolutely
disgusting with Talkback. I don't want to give potential future Android
users the wrong impression here. Chrome is very very doable with
Talkback. I! personally, just find it to be very very clunky, at best. I
do! however find Firefox on Android to be absolutely gorgeous! And, I do
mean, gorgeous! So, here lies my delimma taking us back to the Windows
side of things.
I have Firefox installed on my Windows machine, even though it's not my
default browser, and I don't normally use it. I will in a pinch, but
normally? No. I do have Firefox sync set up though. This way, if I save
a bookmark on my computer in Firefox, it's then instantaniously available
in my bookmarks on my phone, and vice versa. The issue is, seeing that I
don't normally like using Firefox on the PC, I use Chrome, but then don't!
on my phone, we have a bookmark problem. Do you see where I'm going with
this? If I bookmark something in Chrome on my PC, yeah, it'll carry over
to Chrome on my phone, but I don't like using Chrome on the phone, in
fact, it's so bad in my opinion, I flat out refuse, even in a pinch to do
it. So my question is this, ultimately.
Can I, get a Chrome extension, or, for that mind, a firefox extension,
preferably the former, which will allow me to sync not just once, but in
realtime, my Chrome bookmarks to my Mozilla Firefox sync account. This
way, I could still use chrome on my computer, but if I bookmarked
something, it would automatically then send it over to my Firefox,
therefore, causing Firefox to sync down that bookmark, therefore making it
where when I open Firefox on my phone, and go to my bookmarks, bam! There
they'd be.
I confess that I never really have dived into the world of Chrome nor
Firefox extension/add ons, so you all are going to have to be incredibly
incredibly specific on step by step how to install it, and how to set it
up, if this can be done.
Thanks for the help.
Chris.
