Larry, if you use fs reader, I think you can set bookmarks and it
also remembers the last place of reading.

It doesn't look like there are any default settings available for doing that.
At present, I am using IE to read Bookshare .xml, and really have no
complaints except when my place markers stop working. I was told how
to reload Brows mode enhanced app, which I have set to a hot key,
but when even that doesn't work, I just have to reboot. Fortunately
that doesn't happen all that often anymore.
I'm not even sure that I will find using AMIS all that advantageous,
but would like to at least give it a chance.
