Hello, 1. Route the mouse and click on the items in the amazon echo page. For example, locate settings with your arrow keys, press insert-numpad plus and then click with numpad-slash.
2. Mouse keys can't be used to navigate in Firefox Chrome or Thunderbird at this time. I'm unable to use the amazon echo site https://echo.amazon.com site at all with Windoweyes. I can't press enter because there are no links and WE does not vocalize anything when I try to move the mouse cursor around. I'm using Firefox and the latest version in Windoweyes in Windows-7. My specific question is about the echo site; my more general question is: why isn't WE voicing anything when I'm using the mouse keys in Firefox? This happens with some websites but not all. Thanks! Some mornings I can turn on the computer, and all Windows sounds including the start sound will be heard, and nothing else. Other times, the startup sound wont be there, and the others will, at least I think it works that way. Just this afternoon, like many times before, I had consistent sounds with dialog boxes that would pop up in certain programs that I commonly run, such as the dialog asking if I want the program to make changes to my computer, and a box warning about the program's beta status, in a Bookshare desktop client, but after running Total recorder, these sounds completely disappeared. I opened up TR to allow system sounds when recording, in order for the program not to tamper with my sound scheme, but the sounds wouldn't come back even after I restarted the computer. However the startup fanfare sound was heard. BTW, my Thunderbird logo is never missing. This isn't what I'd call an urgent issue, but nevertheless a frustrating one. Hopefully this message makes sense. If any more clarification is needed, please let me know. If anybody could tell me how to solve this little problem, your help would definitely be appreciated, Larry and also when using Thunderbird for incoming mail _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
