Hi, You could try setting the mouse boundary to full screen by repeatedly pressing control-shift-b. Use numpad 7 to move to the top of the screen, then search for a specific word or some text with control-shift-f. For example adobe reader. You can click the mouse by pressing numpad-slash.
Hope this helps, Chris Window-Eyes Product Support Ai Squared 725 Airport North Office Park Fort Wayne, IN 46825 (802) 362-3612 www.aisquared.com -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Van Lant, Robin via Talk Sent: Thursday, June 25, 2015 12:33 PM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List <[email protected]> Subject: regaining focus on pop-up windows I seem to occasionally get into a situation where a program's pop-up window loses focus and it is not part of the alt tab cycle. In this case, other than using my bit of vision to try to drag my mouse to the middle of the screen, how do you regain focus? A prime example is when I'm opening a pdf file in Adobe Acrobat. Sometimes, I must hit a key or something as the file is opening and I lose focus on the accessibility window that pops up to ask how I want Adobe to read the file. I can see the box there, but I can't figure out how to get focus on it without using vision and my mouse, which is clunky at best. Any of you have this issue? Only thought I've had is to use the HotSpot app to put my pointer somewhere in the middle of the screen and click.
