In my ongoing search to find employment to suit my needs and temperament, I found out about medical coding and billing. Now I know a lot of this stuff has been outsourced to India and other places, but small concerns still exist where you can hire on as a private contractor for this work. A small concern is fine with me, since my needs are few. How accessible are the platforms for carrying out this work? Where can I read about it? To whom do I speak about getting training in such a field? In particular, if any list members know a contact in the state of Minnesota with whom I can talk about this stuff, I would greatly appreciate a heds up off list.
