Subject: 3 Window-Eyes Questions.

Hi!

1) How can we toggle speech on/off?
Use the toggle all voices hot key. It is undefined by default. To define it,
go to:
Hot keys/miscellaneous and locate it in the list. Navigate to capture key and
press your key of choice. Save your settings with control-s.

2) In Jaws & Supernova I can read with the braille display freely and
independently from the speech line by line and on the desktop, everywhere yet I
can perform clicks on what I want using the cursor routing buttons. How can I
make Window-Eyes behave in this manner using the braille display navigation
buttons? I don't mean I want to toggle speech off when wanting to read in
braille, I want WE to let me navigate around in braille whereever I want when I
want independently.

Depends on the display in question. You can press insert-1 on the number row
and press the braille display keys to see how the display manufacturer defined
them.
If you want to create your own, go to Braille/hot keys.

3) How can I make WE report automatically formatting like bold, italics etc
when I read/write? I want a toggle for this at least when I read so that I
turn off them being reported when wanted and hear them when proof reading yet I
always want them to be reported when typing so it says bold on/bold off when I
begin or end the function?
>From within word, press Windows-a.

Thanks.
