I think you actually want to be sure you go back into Browse mode so that you can read the questions. If Browse mode clicks back off when you hit the radio button, then turn browse mode back on to arrow down to the next question. In forms mode, it's only reading the labels for the fields you edit. You need browse mode to read the text around those controls.
