I did have the virtualization checked, that's why I wasn't sure why the
messages weren't displaying right. I suppose I could just try toggling it on
and off again?

It actually sounds to me like your messages are not being virtualized. The
toggle hotkey for this is alt shift v. Check to be sure you have the
outlook enhance app to Virtualize messages and that you are not accidentally
using this hotkey combo in the info bot turn it off. Messages that do not
have HTML formatting and are very simple might read so cleanly that you
think you are in browse mode, but then you hit a message with pictures and
table formatting and so on that doesn't read cleanly.

Subject: outlook mesage body displaying incorrectly.

Hi.

Running window-eyes 9.1 with windows 8.1-64 bit and office 2010 32-bit.

When I am reading messages in outlook 2010, the message body doesn't display
properly at times. Instead of loading in browse mode, it loads as if it were
a word document with a lot of verbocity. So instead of getting the heading
count, link count, ect. like i would in a webpage, I get things like the
following information, this example is listed in no particular order but
just as an example of the verbose output.

Begin example text:

style normal, one shape enter hyperlink field, table 1 r1 c1 leave hyperlink
field, table 1.1.1 style web heading 1.

End example text

and so on and so forth until somewhere in there i find text that is
discernable as being part of the actual email.

So it looks like window-eyes is reading the actual formatting of the message
instead of putting in a webpage-like layout in browse mode. I have tried the
following.

1. turned off all apps. no change.

2. restarted outlook, no change.

3. did a repair of office 2010, no change.

4. and the only solution that seems to work, I have to restart window-eyes.
Ok, that's fine, a little annoying and tedious, but it works, until it
starts to do it again.

so, does anyone else have this issue? If so, how have you gone about
resolving it? Do I need to reinstall set files for office and/or outlook?
Which ones? Do I have to take the rather drastic step of reinstalling
window-eyes altogether? Is this a known bug that ai squared are looking
into?

any help is appreciated on this matter.

Thanks, Dave
