It sounds like you defined your down arrow key to some other keystroke. To try and figure out what keystroke it is, press insert-1 before hitting the down arrow key. This will tell you what Window-eyes feature the down arrow is assigned to. You can go into the hot keys menu and locate the incorrect hot key and redefine it. Chris
