Hi Dave and Josh,
Thanks for your suggestion. Actually, such type of projects are not easy
since this is legacy technology and sometimes the port is not possible
or it would involve huge costs. Anyway, we'll explore it since this
suggestion has arrived from several users.
Best regards,

Greetings,
I am writing both on behalf of myself and on behalf of Josh
Kennedy. He alerted me to the fact that the keynote gold
synthesizer is not available to be used by modern software
programs. We were wondering if Code Factory and/or Humanware would
be willing to develop a SAPI version of this much beloved
synthesizer? I personally used it on my braille note BT and also
used a Franklin Language Master. Due to the fact that the
synthesizer has not been developed in some years, I’m guessing it
would need to be updated to conform to work with screen readers
such as Window-Eyes. I would be willing to Beta test and provide
feedback regarding the efficacy of the product. One thing that I
particularly enjoyed about that synthesizer was its snappy
responsiveness, it could stop on a dime. The speech was also very
crisp and clear even at fast speeds, something which many modern
synthesizers could do better at, I think.
I am unsure of the legalities and copyright issues involved in
producing such a product, but I would be happy to contact whomever
I need to to get the ball rolling in that department as well.
I hope we can begin a dialogue on this matter and look forward to
working with you on it,
sincerely,
Dave Bahr
