Hi there GROUP!
I have experienced this but very little since I have updated my
ThunderBird. When this does happen though, I simply press the W.E.
hotkey- I believe it is 'CTRL - ALT W' and this does bring W.E. back. I
am running Windows 7 with 4 GIG of ram. Just my two sense worth.

I know this thread has been on and off this list for some time. I
guess I didn't pay much attention because I didn't seem to have much
trouble with it. Now for the past couple of weeks or so it's
crashing very frequently. I can't figure out any pattern, it will do
it while scanning in Kurzweil, when I'm reading emails, on a website
or trying to get on one. Most of the time if I wait long enough it
will come back, but other times I have to reboot. It doesn't seem to
be windoweyes because I can't bring up NVDA or anything while it's
silent. Have any of you out there figured anything out about the
cause or how to eliminate or minimize it? Another interesting thing
is that it gradually does it less after the computer has been on for
an hour or so
