Working in Word with tables containing merged cells causes Word to sometimes
crash.

Replication steps:

Create a blank document and add a table, say 5 by 5.

Select cell R1C1 to R4C1 and merge the cells.

Go to cell R5C1.

Hold the shift key and hit up arrow, attempting to select multiple cells.

Word 2010 crashes without a peep, it simply disappears..

In Office 2013, I get a dialog that MS Word has stopped working when I
attempt to select the cells.

With Window Eyes not running, Word does not crash.

I also noticed that when I added a column to the right of this table that
when I navigated around the table using the arrow keys that WE spoke
different page numbers as I moved around.

Word 2010

Window 7 Professional

HP Laptop

Zoom Text also running, version10.0.xx (latest update)

WE 9.1 latest update.
