I had my Lenovo laptop reformatted to factory defaults due to an internet issue. In the process of getting things working properly, I accidently changed my default email program to the program on the start screen. I was going to live with this until I saw a note telling how to change the default browser in Windows 10. I decided to try the following. I hit CTRL+ESC and typed in default email. I then found change default email, and bam! I think I have Outlook as my default email program. I'm not sure of this until I get an email message to test this. In any case I hope this will help someone else. Just for your information.
