Do you really mean a PDF maker or are you thinking of something like Microsoft Publisher? The reason I ask is that Office 2010 allows you to save a word, excel or powerpoint file as a PDF. So, if you can create the file using images and text as you want it in one of those, you can just go to the Save As dialog box and select PDF as the file type. This is super simple and makes an accessible version of the file for your blind friends to access. I get a lot of intern candidates resumes this way and I have no trouble reading them.
